Honey and Cinnamon: The Key to Clear Skin?

There’s nothing worse than a breakout. Not only does it make you self-conscious, but you’ll also have concerns about the long-term impact on your skin.

Fortunately, there’s no shortage of natural applications and medications you can experiment with.

Get this: a honey and cinnamon mask may be the answer to all your problems.

Studies have shown that antioxidants, such as sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP), vitamin B3, and linoleic (omega-6) fatty acid have the potential to clear the skin.

While these antioxidants aren’t found in honey and cinnamon, others are. Furthermore, both of these have the ability to reduce inflammation and fight back against bacteria.

There’s no scientific study to back up the claim that honey and cinnamon can treat blemishes, but that shouldn’t stop you from giving it a try. Many people swear by it.

Here’s the best way to make a honey and cinnamon mask:

•    Mix one teaspoon of cinnamon and two tablespoons of honey to form a paste

•    Clean your face with warm water and pat dry

•    Apply the paste to your face and leave it on for approximately 10 minutes

•    Thoroughly rinse your face, making sure to leave no residue, and pat dry

Forget about applying medication to your delicate skin. A natural approach, such as a honey and cinnamon mask, may be just what you need to clear your skin.
