There are times throughout your day when it’ll feel good to sit down and rest your feet. However, too much sitting — such as at your work desk for hours on end — can be detrimental to your health.
And that’s why standing desks continue to grow in popularity.
Here are some of the many benefits of using a standing desk:
• Helps you maintain good posture
• Reduce back and neck pain
• Prevents you from sitting with your legs crossed
• Improves circulation
• Increased energy level
This isn’t to say that you have to use a standing desk all day long. For example, you may want to sit during the morning hours but working standing after lunch through the end of the day.
If you’ve yet to experiment with a standing desk, now’s the time to do so. You may be skeptical now, but once you work this into your daily routine you’ll come to find that it can improve your health, well-being, and the way you feel. And there’s nothing more important than that!
