It’s always been important to keep a clean home, but this is even more so the case in today’s day and age.
Fortunately, once you settle into a cleaning schedule, you’ll know exactly what it takes to keep your home safe and healthy for you and your family.
Do you know the dirtiest spots in your home? Do you pay close attention to them when cleaning?
Here are just a handful of the areas that deserve special attention the next time you do your cleaning rounds:
• Knobs, handles, and switches: These are among the items that get touched the most, so it’s natural that they’re among the dirtiest. However, many people overlook them when cleaning their homes.
• Laundry room: You pay so much attention to your bathrooms and kitchen that you forget that your laundry room has the potential to become a breeding ground for bacteria, viruses, germs, and more.
• Personal items: These take on many forms, from makeup bottles to computer keyboards to hairbrushes.
Don’t focus all your attention on the surfaces in your home, such as kitchen counters and floors. Yes, these areas need regularly cleaned, but so do the above.
