With summer weather in full swing, there’s a good chance you’re enjoying yourself outdoors. And you deserve it. It was a cold, long winter and spring!
While there’s nothing better than enjoying a hot summer day outdoors, you must protect your skin while doing so. Here are some of the best ways to prevent sunburn:
• Stay in the shade: When possible, sit in locations that are shaded, such as under an umbrella or porch roof.
• Wear a hat: It doesn’t do anything for the rest of your body, but it’ll help keep sun off your face.
• Take breaks: When possible, take breaks from the sun and heat. Go indoors from time to time to cool off, rehydrate, and give your skin a break.
• Wear sunblock: Find a high quality, all-natural sunblock and apply it to your screen as instructed. When you combine this with the other tips above, you’re in good position to protect your skin.
Now that you know how to prevent sunburn this summer, you don’t have to worry about it when you head outdoors. Instead, you can spend your time enjoying yourself!
