Morning back pain has a way of slowing you down. For some people, it’s so bad that they don’t even want to get out of bed – and that’s not a life you want to live.
Before you can address this health concern, you must first pinpoint the cause. Here are some of the places to turn your attention:
· Sleeping position
· Mattress quality
· Preexisting condition
· Your previous day
For example, if you worked all day in your garden or moving heavy objects, you may wake up with back and/or neck pain.
The same holds true if you slept in an awkward position for an extended period of time, such as facedown with your neck to the side.
Once you understand the reason for your pain, you can do the following:
· Seek treatment, such as massage therapy
· Take steps to prevent the same thing from happening in the future
Morning back pain can hold you back from enjoying the day ahead. Furthermore, it can linger if you don’t take care of it in a timely and appropriate manner.
