He is certainly no stranger to hard work and applies all that he has learned in working to his massage career. before he discovered his true calling in massage therapy he worked as a mover. It was then that he grew to appreciate the many wonders and benefits of massage therapy.
Jeannie was first introduced to massage while working in the travel industry. Her former co-workers would ask her for massages when they had headaches or back pain. One day she was massaging a former co worker, when another former co worker said to her "You can get paid to do massages." At the time she didn't believe her. Her reply was "if that was true I would be doing it by now."
Jennifer has been practicing massage therapy and esthetics since 2006. She completed her esthetics and micro-dermabrasion training at the Esthetics Institute in Vienna, Virginia, and her massage therapy training at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia. Jennifer is nationally certified through NCBTMB, and licensed in Virginia for both Massage Therapy and Esthetics. Jennifer is certified in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy®, Traditional Thai Massage, is certified in Pregnancy Massage, Lomi Lomi, Isometric Muscle and Body Balancing, Lypotherapy, and Lypossage Spa Therapies.
A mother of three active girls, Laura is a contractor with the government by day, working on the electronic health record for our military and their family members. She has always had a nurturing spirit. When her mother was ill with ALS, Laura would massage her atrophied muscles to give her some relief. Realizing that she wanted to do more to care for others, Laura went back to school for Massage Therapy and graduated from the American Massage and Bodywork Institute in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys family time with her daughters, dancing, watching old movies, photography, and pretending she's a DC tourist, even though she's lived in the area for more than 30 years.
Jenny Dominguez has been a nationally certified massage therapist through NCTMB since 2003. She is passionate about the positive effects massage therapy has on the body and mind. Jenny specializes in Integrative Therapeutic Massage. This includes deeply focusing in on a problem area such as neck and shoulders while also addressing whole body stress relief. She thoughtfully creates a massage that will suit your specific needs.
Aleida (Luz) completed her Certification in the sciences, theory, practice and application of therapeutic Massage a concentration in Sports Massage and Muscle Performance Therapies at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church Virginia.
Aleida (Luz) also completed the Certified Advanced Practitioner and Teacher Training Program (CAPT) in the International Training Massage School in Chiang Mai Thailand, that is accredited by Thailand Ministry of Education, approved by Ministry of Public Health and recognized, approved internationally by many professional colleges and associations for continuing education in the regulated healthcare field, is approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.
After working in Broadcast Television for over 20 years, Darren decided to leave the industry and pursue his interest into the massage therapy field. “I first started thinking about massage therapy as a career when I was coming to Serendipity as a client. One day after a session, I asked Jennifer if she would mentor me if I every pursued massage therapy, and she said ‘sure.’ Little did I know, about 4 years later I would be working as a therapist at my favorite wellness studio!”
Let me introduce RaJa' Collins. She loves what she does!
RaJa has been massaging since 2005. She was led to massage after reaching a point in her life; where some others may have been before, she hated her job. RaJa grew up in P.G. County Maryland and after high school, attended Prince Georges Community College for approximately two years, but struggled to find what she wanted to do in life. It was then that she discovered the gift of massage therapy.
Chrissy graduated from SpaTech Institute in Plymouth, MA in May 2017 and is new to the area as well.
Originally from Central California and a background in animal science, her husband’s service in the Coast
Guard led her to a career change that meant more flexibility with frequent moves.
Ravi first started doing facials in India, her passion for beauty and skin care continued even after she moved to America. She brought her skills she learned in India with her such as care comfort and natural treatments. In hopes to increase her talent in beauty she attended and graduated from Esthetic Institute where she learned the new tricks and mixed them with the old ways. Ravi loves to work with people and give them the relaxation of facial therapy.
